History
Daughter of the Desert
Born in 1547, Gospel spent her early life travelling with her merchant parents as they made and sold various arms and armor all across Hydaelyn. Lightfaith Armory is a small, hand-made mercantile likely serving nobles and nobility for singular, specialty-made pieces as well as among the smallfolk for common household metal goods.
At the age of sixteen, Gospel underwent tutelage as a free paladin with a former Ishgardian Knight, Thellarin Brightblade (NPC), forced into retirement by the Dragonsong War. A friend of her father, he trained Gospel thoroughly and with a steadfast worthiness as to make her strong and capable when she took her first steps into the wider world.
Knight of the Lily
During her five years of training, Gospel went with Thellarin on a number of adventures, assisting smallfolk all across Thanalan. Due to her pale complexion and silver hair, locals came to refer to her as the Lily of the Desert. Later on, as she continued to serve alongside Thellarin in his Free Company, it morphed into a pseudo-title, Knight of the Lily, that was more jest than any serious proclamation.
Still in the midst of her training, Gospel was surprised to be taken to the Battle of Carteneau when Thellarin's Free Company was asked to join the Grand Alliance in their efforts there. Not one to back down from a challenge, she fought alongside her trainer with all the power and strength she'd been trained to. Fusing magic with steel, she and Thellarin were forces to be reckoned with in the field. Unbeknownst to them, though, they were fighting a losing battle. Or at least a stale-mated one.
Stranger in a Strange Land
After Carteneau, Gospel found herself in Limsa Lominsa, recovering in an infirmary there. Members of the Grand Alliance had saved her and other members of the Free Company she was part of -- but there was no sign of Thellarin. On her own in a foreign place, Gospel set about earning her keep to try and earn enough money to get back to Ul'dah and her family. During one of these many misadventures for Baderon and the local Adventurer's Guild, Gospel was eventually recruited into the Maelstrom where she served for a number of years. She became very loyal to the Maelstrom and the Admiral, admiring the roegadyn's no-nonsense attitudes toward warfare.
Through the Maelstrom, she travelled the world and saw the heroics of the Warrior of Light -- albeit at great distance -- which inspired her to use her life to better those around her. When she finally left the Maelstrom to return home to Ul'dah, she carried those memories with her.
A Return to Ul'dah
Now in her late 30's, Gospel found her way back home to find that Lightfaith Arms was still going strong and that her parents were alive and well. Overjoyed to finally see their offspring again, they welcomed her back with open arms.
Restless, however, Gospel returned to the Adventurer's Guild to find more work to keep herself busy. Momodi happily provided in the form of caravan guard, and various protection and defense contracts for the local community. She also spends a lot of time with the down-trodden providing aid as a physician or giving out medicine to those in need.
Still, though, something seemed to be missing. Until the day she came across one Valeria Camena and they, together, formed The Seventh Chantry; a Free Company dedicated to filling in the cracks left behind by the greater adventures of the Warrior of Light and the Grand Alliance, helping all people great and small.Traits & Abilities

Buyers and purveyors of arms and armor are also welcome to know Gospel through her merchant family. Until she came of age, the silver-haired, well-mannered young woman travelled with them frequently as they travelled Eorzea to peddle their wares.
The Lightfaith family name is commonly attached to a small arms and armor merchant whose emblem is a radiant sun. (See the top of this page.)

Ul'dahnian Citizen
Natives of Ul'dah are welcome to know Gospel, either by name or simply by reputation. She is a known free paladin adventurer that offers her services as a caravan guard, a defender of the smallfolk, and occasionally as a physician for the less fortunate.
Often seen around the Adventurer's Guild helping Momodi in recent years, other Adventurers are welcome to know her either in passing or by reputation.
Might of the Silverwing
Maelstrom Captain
Members of the Maelstrom, both current and former, are welcome to know Gospel from her time in service. A long-standing member of the crew of The Silverwing she worked her way through the ranks to become Captain Esmerelda Harlock's First Mate. She was in line to succeed her Captain and take over the captaincy of The Silverwing but Gospel retired to return home to Ul'dah, much to the Admiral's ire (and admiration.)

The Seventh Chantry is Gospel's Free Company that she acts as figurehead for. Under the true leadership of Valeria Camena, the Chantry works in relative anonymity, cleaning up between the cracks of the greater adventures of the Warrior of Light and the Grand Alliance.
From helping farmers clear their lands to hunting Greater Voidsent, there's very few jobs they won't take on. But there is more to their story than mercenary work.

Missions of Mercy
The Silverwing's greatest claim-to-fame is the daring rescue of The Tiderunner, a privateer blockade runner that ran afoul of the Garleans. The privateer vessel was on its last legs, turning to make a last desperate charge for the mid-ship of the Garlean battleship. However, The Silverwing swooped in at the last moment, a bombardment from their broadside cannons drawing the Garleans away from "The Tiderunner" so the merchant ship could make a limping escape to safe harbors.
The Silverwing and Captain Esmerelda, along with her First Mate and her crew, were known to be sent regularly on Missions of Mercy, carrying troops to beleagured areas, ferrying refugees to safety, and delivering relief aid to coastal villages that needed it. Gospel served as both Strategist and Tactician for the vessel, as well as a Diplomat when needed.Flying Across the Sea
Aside from her reputation as a Ship of Mercy, The Silverwing is also known as one of the fastest ships in the Admiralty, which is why she's often chosen for the missions she is. Doman Refugees are welcome to have known and ridden on The Silverwing as she was used as an evacuation vessel during the Doman Occupation and Liberation. Doman and Othardian Citizens particularly along the coastlines and in the Ruby Sea are welcome to know of The Silverwing and her reputation for being a ship of rough, tough, but ultimately benevolent crew. They have been known to deliver supplies and relief aid to beleagured costal villages, some of it being ferried in-land to help neighboring hamlets.

Pewter Guardian: Mist
A gift hand-crafted for her by her beloved friend, Silver Rain, Gospel is almost always accompanied by a mechanical carbuncle named Mist. Made of a special alloy making it nigh indestructible, Mist is Gospel's protector and guardian. It is imbued with a part of Rain's own aether, making it a rare and unique gift.
According to Rain, Mist has a number of fascinating abilities, but Gospel has yet to discover what those are.Chocobo: Spirit
Raised by her mentor, Thellarin, this feisty chocobo was gifted to Gospel on the day she came of age. Named Spirit for his spunky nature, the bird is fiercely loyal to his mistress, having gone through hell and back with her through war, feast, and famine alike. As long as Gospel is near-at-hand, he tends to be a friendly bird, but on his own or when Gospel is asleep or unconscious, he becomes vicious and unpredictable -- especially with people he's not familiar with.

- Older, Adult Players. 21+. No, not for naughty things. I'm a 40+ year old gamer lady that simply likes befriending and playing alongside people of an adult age who understand that Life, Responsibility, Family, and Other Stuff sometimes have to come first.
- Welcomes OOC Communication & Friendship. I like to be friends with the people I roleplay with regularly. I'll send you derpy cat memes or silly things I find that remind me of your character or mine or both. I want to be able to talk to you if something doesn't jive in a scene and I want you to feel you can do the same with me.
- Para/Multi-Para Roleplayers. I love description that lives and breathes. I love context. I love expressions and gestures. Gimme all that. Do NOT, however, give me endless one-liners.
- In-Game Roleplay Preferred. I don't mind giving out my Discord for OOC chatter and planning, but I've been burned enough times by Discord RP that it's no longer a medium I enjoy.
- Say and Emote "Open World" RP Preferred. Please don't send me IC tells or party invites for RP. I like to roleplay in the open world so others can read, enjoy, and potentially find a means to join in if they choose.
- Long-term Contacts. Be it friendships, relationships, or otherwise, I enjoy character-driven stories and getting invested in them like a good novel, short-term contacts don't provide that for me.
- Romantic Adventure. If you want to attempt to sweep my characters off their feet, you're welcome to -- provided you're willing to be both active and interested enough to keep them around. I don't want to have to constantly cover for an absentee partner or be the only one to ever ask for RP and create opportunities.
- Late-Night/Overnight Roleplayers. I am a night owl usually online between 8pm and 8am Central (US) Time. I welcome other night owls or early Oceanic folk!
- English Fluency. I don't mind grammar or spelling mistakes, nor do you need to have an extensive vocabulary, but having to decipher badly Google-translated text diminishes the experience for me.
- Mature Content -- ASK ONLY. I do not engage in "mature" roleplay without first being consulted OOC. This includes but is not limited to: extreme violence, gore, horror, torture, sexuality, or maudlin. If you aren't sure or what you have in mind isn't listed and you consider it mature, then do, please ask me. I don't bite. I'm generally okay with most themes, but sometimes I can handle them and sometimes I can't due to medical reasons.
Boundaries
Please respect these boundaries. I have them for a reason. Repeat offenders will eventually get dismissed.
- Real Life Always Comes First. Life happens, sometimes when we don't want it to. I try to be as respectful of the time I'm given as I possibly can, but between my own health and having a family and responsibilities, they sometimes have to take priority. Getting upset or angry over these things is a sure-fire way to my bad side.
- I Am Married IRL. Do not involve yourself in roleplay with me if you're looking for a potential OOC/RL relationship. I am not even remotely interested or looking for that. Friendship is my limit.
- IC/OOC Blending. If you can't keep Characters and their feelings separate from the Players, I want no part of it. I am not my character, please don't take their actions or feelings as my own. If you have any doubts, then kindly ask.
- Disrespecting Boundaries. If I step away from a scene, do not continue to engage in that scene. Also, don't get upset OOC if I opt out, though I'm more than happy to discuss with you WHY I'm stopping it. My boundaries and my comfort are vital in what is a fun pass-time.
- Rarely Being the One to Ask. I want to feel like my partners are as interested and engaged by our roleplay as I am. I'm an avid roleplayer, but even I like being asked and feeling like you want to be part of my stories as much as anyone else. Do not expect me to always be the one to ask. I will eventually stop asking if my effort is not reciprocated.
- Mature Content Without Consent. See my Preferences. I don't mind it, but engage me in it without talking to me OOC are grounds for my departure. I have these specific boundaries for a reason. I do not, under ANY circumstance, participate in any Storyline revolving around suicide or rape. These are extremely personal themes to me and NOT FUN for me to roleplay in.

- I am a 40+ gamer lady. Downright ancient. If you have a problem with roleplaying with someone my age, then please don't seek me out. Ain't nobody here got time for that.
- I have three auto-immune conditions. My health sometimes requires me to cut a scene short or reschedule a scene. This is never a sign of disinterest, only me looking out for my well-being. I will almost always try to make amends for a missed session. Understanding and empathy are a requirement.
- I am a night owl. Active between 8pm-8am Central (US) Time, Monday-Wednesday and alternating weekends.
- I have over 25 years of roleplay experience. I say this to assure you that I have the writing chops and story-weaving experience to ensure you have fun. I want people to be engaged, encouraged, and enthusiastic to write with me.
